Pastor Nancy White is an Ordained Deacon in the WV Annual Conference, having served in ministry positions at Christ UM Church in Wheeling, St. Paul’s UM Church in Nitro and the Milton UMC-Bethesda UMC Charge in Milton-Ona before appointment to the Dunbar-St Paul Charge in 2026. She spent much time in ministry with youth, children and families, serving as the WV Annual Conference Youth Coordinator through the years. Her passion in ministry centers itself in her favorite verse Micah 6:8 “What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God."
Nancy is a runner, having completed her first (only) marathon in 2025, and several half marathons over the years. She has traveled for pleasure and missional experiences in the US and abroad. She is a Pittsburgh Steeler fan, enjoys NCIS and Amazing Race television shows, and wishes she had more of a creative hobby besides playing Wordle every day.
Nancy and her husband, Roy, reside in St. Albans with their son Liam, a 2026 graduate of St. Albans High School. She is a native West Virginian, growing up in Hampshire County and is an alumnus of WV Wesleyan College and the Methodist Theological School in Ohio (MTSO).
